Following the successful F1, the Mirage 2000 reverted back to Dassault's preference for the delta wing layout.
Following refinements in fly-by-wire technology and linked to an advanced flight control computer, Dassault
engineers found that they could resolve most of the drawbacks of the earlier Mirage III delta layout to produce
an aircraft with exceptional agility and maneuverability.
