Other "Mirage"
|
Based on their success with the Mirage, other nations have developed their own
versions. The Israel Aircraft Industries (IAI) Nesher/Kfir series and the
South African built Atlas (now Denel Aviation) Cheetah have been as equally
successful both in combat operations and in export sales as the Mirage they are
derived from. Other derivatives are the Dassault-Breguet Etendard IV and
Super-Etendard carrier-based attack aircraft and the Mirage IV bomber.
