These sceneries are designed for and tested on FS2000 only. They
have not been designed for compatibility with other scenery packages. As
a result, and considering the particular scenery aspects featured by FS2K,
they will most probably conflict with such scenery. They definitely will
not work with FS98 or earlier versions.
You don't need to set neither the flatten nor the exclude switch in
FS2K. The sceneries should be fine as such.
Eb??.zip files typically include following files:
1.3.0. scenery structure:
All eb?? sceneries share the same texture and menu listing files. These
might be updated at each new scenery. Therefore I would suggest to accumulate
all eb?? sceneries in one scenery directory. Doing so will require only
one other directory to accomodate the texture files, even when other sceneries
follow. Not only will this save disk space, but you only need to overwrite
one set of files at each update, which makes maintenance easier.
1.3.1. core scenery and texture files:
Follow the standard procedure. Create a new directory - the main directory
- (for example "eb??") wherever you choose.
Unzip eb??.zip in this main eb?? directory. The two required subdirectories
\scenery and \texture are automatically created and filled.
As a matter of control, you may want to verify that the *.bgl file
appears in the \scenery subdirectory, and the *.bmp files in the \texture
subdirectory.
All required textures are not always supplied with the downloaded scenery. To achieve small download file sizes, it may be that only new textures or necessary updates are supplied. In such case you will need textures supplied with prior eb?? scenery releases.
As explained in 1.3.0. above, just overwrite the older texture files
and replace them with the more recent ones where applicable.
1.3.2 the static a/c files (when provided):
Unzip eb??_stat.zip in the same directory as sub 1.3.1. The *.bgl file
is the scenery file, the *.?af files are the a/c textures. Static a/c files
are rather frame-rate consuming. They definitely can make the difference
in FS2K. Offering these files as distinct files lets you make your own
decision whether you want to add these to the scenery or not.
1.3.3. other files:
The files will appear in your main eb?? directory after execution of
point 1.3.1. above.
The eb??_iap?.jpg files are simple approach plates made with FINAL APPROACH. I thought this to be a user friendly alternative for those of you who do not use this application.
Keep eb??.html (within the same directory) and eb??.gif for reference
purposes and discard fileid.id.
1.3.4. activation:
Finally, unless you put the files in an existing scenery directory
which is already active, activate the new scenery by the FS2K menu.

The sceneries use specific bitmap textures as explained above .
Apart from these textures, a few objects additionally require standard
AIRPORT textures. These files are widely available on popular download
sites (where you found these files), so I haven't included them in this
package. Put these textures in the global \texture directory, so that they
serve for other sceneries as well.

All eb?? sceneries share the same menu listing file. You access this menu by the usual 'go to airport' menu provided in FS2K. A new 'country/region' is added: 'Belgium Air Bases' which groups all eb?? sceneries. The ebafd.bgl file is thus cumulative. It includes the menu listing of all previously released 'eb' scenery files. When unzipping, just overwrite the older afd.bgl file. If you choose not to install this file, this menu selection feature will not be available.
The scenery is also always accessible by the access button 'scenery
from FS95' in the same 'go to airport' menu. Startup locations other than
the runway tresholds are available here.

them, even modify them, for your own individual use free of charge. No
part of these may however be used directly or indirectly for commercial
purposes. They cannot be directly nor indirectly linked, even free, to
any commercial offering. Only Internet distribution and uploads are allowed,
but are restricted to these forums or services where the user has the (effective!)
possibility to download free of charge.
I made these sceneries for my pleasure and I'm best willing to share
my pleasure with other flight-simmers. Nobody should therefore make money
with it, neither directly neither indirectly.
There are no further representations or warranties whatsoever associated with these files' functionalities. If they do not satisfy your expectations, please discard them. If you wish to keep them, use it at your own risk.
