Mirage Aircraft for Flight Simulator Scenery - Other Air Bases
|
So you've downloaded a couple Mirage aircraft and they look pretty good. But they look a little
out of place sitting on the ramp at Meigs or Seattle. Or anywhere else in the USA for that matter.
Except perhaps at Nellis AFB near Las Vegas during Red Flag exercises.

There are French Armée de l'Air bases included in the default Flight Simulator scenery. But as with
many included airports they are a little sparse in the area of buildings, taxiways, etc. Listed
below are some third-party freeware scenery packages for several French bases.

It is also very common for NATO and non-aligned (France for example) military units to cross train and/or
participate in each other's air shows. This means flying to one or the other's base of operations.
So I've included several air bases of other European nations (and beyond) in case you want to travel
outside of the French borders.
