Warren Wright sent a few images last year
(first row below) from a visit to the South Africa Air Force (SAAF) Museum at
Swartkop AFB. He recently had another opportunity to visit the museum and
has sent quite a few images of the aircraft, weapons, and other Mirage and Cheetah
related items on display at the museum. Click images for a larger view.

Mirage F1AZ Mockup
This aircraft used to sit at the top of Swartkop AFB opposite the boneyard.
I believe it has been moved and now resides at 10 Air Depot as a gate guard.
You can't really see it in the pictures but if you look at the aircraft head on
you can see a distinct bow in both wings. I believe only two mock up's were
ever built. The last I heard the other one is on a farm in the Nigel area.
